Vending means: automatic retailing.

The vending industry comprises of:

• Approximately 800, mostly medium-sized companies, which operate at their own cost, food and beverage vending machines, so called Operators.
• Manufacturers of beverage and snack automats
• Companies within the nutritional industry who produce vending compatible products
• Vending cup manufacturers
• Vending payment system manufacturers (coin mechanisms, cashless systems e.g. debit card readers etc.)
• Manufacturers for water filters, vending machine accessories and peripheral devices
• Companies who undertake technical servicing on vending machines and payment systems
• Specialised publishing houses and consulting firms
