Our Service

The association’s benefits for their members are summarised as follows:

  • Continuous information regarding all relevant developments in the technical, legal and economic area within the vending industry is provided through the monthly magazine “BDV Intern”, the association’s press-reviews, members circular letters as well as information meetings (Trend-Meetings held every six months and regional meetings held four times year)
  • Training courses are held, primarily concentrating on consumer products, consumer advice and food hygiene
  • Legal aid and assistance for typical problems within the vending industry as well as the designing and supplying of sample contracts
  • Designing and providing market surveys (Snack Hot-List), wage consultation, operating comparisons, machine sales figures, product sales figures, brochures (HACCP-concept, customer information brochures, operator manual, crisis management brochure), information material (machine price and reference signs)
  • Awarding the German Vending Association seal of quality for vending operators who meet the required quality standard
  • Establishing business contacts
  • Help with public relations
  • Preparation for technical standards for vending machines and payment systems
  • Development and relaying of industry-specific disposal solutions
  • Assistance in helping to find industrial specific insurance through an insurance underwriter
